Elsdale Hall London E9 6PW we run coaching sessions for our 8 - 13 year old members with a separate group for 13+ development riders.
Sessions are either ride outs from the club to local parks or further afield for older riders - riders should be at the Cycling Club Hackney HQ
- Elsdale Community Hall, Elsdale Street, London E9 6PW - for 9am. Training cost is £4.00- £6 depending on what's on the programme
this session will last 2 - 3 hours. The format for training is sent out in a weekly newsletter email. No bike? - We have bikes of all types and sizes
for you to try out and once a member you can take one out on loan if need be - terms apply.
Concorde Centre Sessions for youth riders looking to join rides that explore the area with less of a focus on sports cycling and a more casual dress code; comfortable, tracksuits and trainers.
Bikes and safety equipment are available to use free of charge. Saturdays meeting for 9.00am at the Concorde Centre, Kingsmead Estate, Kingsmead Way, Homerton London E9 5PP. Depending on what's on the programme this session lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
This group is set to go on a series of trips further afield with plans to visit Epping Forest, Hampstead Heath, Hertford Town (via River Lea towpath) and Richmond Park.
Wednesday after school bike club at The Concorde Centre - 3.30 - 5.30pm These projects are fully funded by Young Hackney (Hackney Council) therefore there isn't a fee for joining here; a commitment to supporting sport for all in the community.
All coaching activities are provided by staff who have national governing body's British Cycling Level 2 coaching qualifications.

Parents and carers of our youth riders are welcome to assist at training and many volunteer to so so - getting themselves some training and
learning opportunities from the sessions. We ask that adult volunteers become club members and come equipped to ride.

Heads up! British Cycling's national City Academy programme is on the way this spring too, with the pilot project being trialed in Hackney for this serious three year sponsored drive. BC are going to help effect change for the better regarding sport for all and enabling the game to be better represented by the whole community - that's all people of colour taking part.
Further Training Opportunities -
Tuesdays - BC Rider Development sessions at LVV circuit 7,30-9pm 5th October through to 29th March - these sessions on the road circuit are with riders and coaches from British Cycling other local clubs - aimed at Youth A - under 16s, Youth B - under 14s and Juniors - U18s. These are very good midweek sessions for improving technique and fitness. Cost - £6 .

Roller training and Core training - on demand - Wednesday evenings from 6 - 7pm at the club - bring trainers for doing circuit training in.
London Youth Games - CCH select and train the cycling squad of boys and girls to represent the London Borough of Hackney in the time trial and circuit race at the annually held London Youth Games.To be eligible you must be living in or attending school in Hackney.
