8th September 2020 CC Hackney began delivery work and the links with Compass Wellbeing & NHS East London Foundation Trust. Prevention is preferred over cure, It's about mental health, ongoing adult sports club life sessions; attendees benefiting from bike rides and/or *football plus the social get togethers. The provision is based at our Concorde Centre station on Kingsmead Estate E9 and has been planned as one pilot for the NHS Triple Aim Project agenda. It is expected to be a model example for other positive and tailored clubs to follow - not just cycling see *In Tune FC; looking to help people at risk of deteriorating mental health near home, in their own neighbourhoods. CCH - serving in the community as an ongoing club that supports those feeling mental health difficulties, also people who could use some assistance during recovery from illness.
December 2019 Merger - Interlinkx CiC has rebranded by transitioning into 'Cycling Club Hackney CIO' (CIO standing for Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Meanwhile the existing club, which was an unincorporated association, has donated its name and assets to the new charity, therefore merging Cycling Club Hackney and Interlinkx CIC into a single entity with charity status to further enable our capacity to deliver positive projects for all in Hackney. Registered Charity Number 1186757

Cycling Club Hackney is proud to announce our latest funding supporter; the William Wates Memorial Trust. This is coming into effect from September 2019 with a three year agreement for the club to extend and continue developing its community outreach aspects. Fittingly the key fund raising activity for the Trust is an event called Le loop (or the Wates fund raisers Tour de France!) The Wates Group is a family owned construction company founded in 1897 that established the WWMT fund in 1998. We are excited by the prospect of being in a better position to be more able to realise our shared aims of reaching the whole community; cycling and quality sporting opportunities for all in Hackney and East London.

Saw the beginning of a proud association of CC Hackney with Akaso cameras. Starting with light touch engagements and enough Akaso Brave 7 cameras to equip the lead coaches delivering CCH's year round cycling activities and two sporting members (Joel & Dani) doing entry level time trials, triathlons, running events and Dani making a splash, living the dream with her surfing hobby!
