Cycling Club Hackney Membership
Cycling Club Hackney is dedicated to promoting cycling & cycle sport at all levels, especially to youth. Although based in the Hackney area it is open to all cyclists whatever their ability.One of the main aims of CCH is that it is be geared to assist Hackney's young people to access the sport of cycling. CCH is set up to provide a safe environment, a youth-friendly atmosphere, free and/or subsidised equipment, qualified coaching and encouragement to take advantage of the nearby countryside in Essex and Hertfordshire for enjoyment and exercise.
We currently have around 150 members with many more followers on our email list.
The membership fee for Cycling Club Hackney for 2011 is £20 for senior members, £10 for junior members. Membership is from 1st April to the 31st of March the following year. We welcome anyone to come along and meet us and join in our activities on a no-obligation basis for one month. After one month, if you like us and want to continue then we require you to be a member. CCH is affiliated to British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials. We require you to be a member if you want to race or time trial in our club colours.
Please note that a junior member is anyone who is under 18 years old on 1st January 2011. Membership fees are half price for anyone joining on or after 1st October 2011.

Cycling and cycle sports are by their nature dangerous and accidents can occur to participants - Cycling Club Hackney will undertake the necessary steps to minimise the risks to riders through training and regular inspection of equipment. To assist this all members and participants in events should ensure they wear a helmet and other protective clothing as deemed necessary. For riders under 16 years of age helmets are compulsory and riders must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.
